Critical and Cultural Practices

Critical and Cultural Practice is a combination of theory and studio practices which allow artists to strengthen their critical thinking and creativity through academic classes where they research art history, theory, and criticism. It teaches artists to draw from their surroundings and personal history so that they can then analyze and to show their interpretation of these elements. They then convey their messages through different materials, to create a connection between artists and their communities.
